Pachycephalosaurus was a member of the Marginocephalian family of Ornithischian dinosaurs. It had a large domed skull, unlike any other dinosaur. It was 9 inched thick when it was an adult. It was most likely used to ram others for mating or for defense. So far, only the skull of this dinosaur was found. Scientists use skeltons of similar dinosaurs, like the Ornithopods to base the body form. It walked on its hind legs, and it had 5 fingers on each hand. Pachycephalosaurus was in the same family as Triceratops and Styracosaurus .
